I have bought empi`s (15/5,5) and would like to know which tires did you put on it? (manufacturer and how wide?)
I would like to know specialy from low riders.

135,145,or 145 65's up front and 195 65,205 60,205 65,205 70,or 215 65's for the rear. There are pics of these sizes in Readers Rides Wink

For a lowrider, are you talkin' spokes and whitebands, or just slammed to the ground?

I'd say for a laid out bug your best bet is 145/65's in the front and like a 185 in the rear. That should get you down to earth.

The above post's sizes will work if you want some fatties in the rear. It's also common to run 135's in front and 145's in rear.

Sorry, didn`t say, that the wheels are for 1960 bus.

I was thinking of 205/60 for all four. I would prefer the front ones 145/50 but (request) from POLICE is all four the same! Evil or Very Mad

Wow that really sucks!

A 205/60 is a pretty good size tire for a low down bus. I guess it all depends on how low you are going to be.

You want us to tell you that you can put big tires on a slammed bus w/no problems rubbing/turning etc. We don't have any way to know if what you wanna do will work? Rolling Eyes

Trying to get an anwser of those who are riding empis 5,5 and their opinion. Which tires are they using, do they have any problems runing it etc.

Klemen, I have 165/15s on my bus (61 panel). You may have some issues with the wheels fitting over the front drums tho..

So here we are now! What you wrote is true. What did you do. I tryed it today.
There will be some grinding to do on the drums.
