How do you tell the difference between real/fake centerlines? I bought a 65 a few weeks ago with them on it and wanted to know. |

Real centerlines have "Centerline" stamped in them. _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

Thats what I read, that its stamped around the center hole? But not on wide-5's which are what I have. If I had the tires off I could check to see if they were two-piece or not but... |

Thats strange. I have never seen any centerline logo stamped on my wide five bolt pattern wheels. Granted the last set I bought was in the mid 90's from Barrett Enterprise. So far I had 2 pairs of 15x3-1/2 bubble centers/polished and satin finish, pair of 15x6 satin finish, pair of 15x7-1/2 polished finish, and a pair of 15x7-1/2 convo pros. Again all of these didnt have any logo stamped. I did purchase these wheels new, they all cam in the Centerline boxes.
But I did have a set of Centerline wheels with the 4x130 bolt pattern. These did have the Centerline logo stamped around the hole for the center cap. But these were old wheels. My dad bought these wheels new in the early 80's. |
