im interested in personal opinions/ experiences with which route to go. 67 bug drop spindles for now need a smaller tire till its narrowed and dropped more. both around same price. thinkin 145 65 will look to small. pics would be great. on all searches the 145 wasnt specified to profile. thanks in advance -ben |

With only spindals, NO beam or adjusters, the 145's should do the trick. 165's in the rear @ stock height for a rake or 1 notch down for a level squat.
IMO, you should save up the $$$ & get a 5" beam to go with those spindals. 135's in the front, 155's in the rear @ 2 notches lowered. |

'63 Bug, stock beam width adjusters, stock spindles, AE EMPI 5 spoke reps with 145/65R15 Conti's front. Needs to go a lower, doubtful they will rub...
'67 Bug, 5" narrowed beam with CB drop spindles (adjusters all the way down), Stock 67 rims with 145R15 Nankangs front. Tires rubbed when turning. The 145/65 would have been perfect, but the car has since sold... (165's and 2 nothces out back BTW)...
