Sprintstars on a Bay

I picked up a set of 4-bolt ('68+) EMPI Sprint Stars last summer. There were also some 5-bolt ones made for '67 and earlier Beetles, but they are rarer because EMPI had just started making them and then VW switched to the 4-bolt wheels in August '67.

Since original EMPI BRM wheels are ultra rare and expensive...Sprint Stars are a nice alternative. There are also repro Sprint Stars available that sell for $200 per wheel...check Mooneyes website.

Thanks for the link to Mooneyes. Bays look like they take 5x112 and the Sprintstars are 5x205 so guess I'll be waiting... have to have everything re-drilled.
