First car i drove(well truck in this case) was a 2wd 1969 Chevy C-10.... on an ice road on a frozen lake. The truck didn't have that great of brakes but that was ok, because on ice locking em up isn't hard at all (no studded tires). Only bumped into one snow bank. First car I really drove was my mom's 2003 Audi Allroad. I kept bugging her to let me get my license and finally she said "If you can back up dad's truck with the snowmachine trailer you can get your license." she sorta chuckled. I backed it up perfectly first try. Then dad changed his mind as to where he wanted it, pulled it around perfectly. Not to say my mom was disappointed, now I could get my license . After I got my liscense, then my first car (and first car I drove alone) was my good 'ol free '73 Super Beetle. The plan is to sell it, but I don't know if i want to, I like it to much _________________ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=366056 - My '73 Super Build. 2332cc, 16" Fuchs |

Probably my uncles truck ... 1986 Chevy C10. But he was stuck, and I just gave it gas while he drove a backhoe to get it out.
I drove my mom's Kia Optima at 14 ... just backed out the driveway and back in when my sister needed to get out.
Legally, other than that Kia, my mom's Silverado. _________________ 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle - Daily Driver/Rolling Project Beater - Stock w/ GT Style Exhaust

Man the first car I drove was this POS 90's Neon drivers traning car. In CA you have to have 2hrs of driving with them before you drive with your parents. But the car was forsure warn out it needed shocks and it just drove bad. _________________ 64 Baja Bug |

I was 10 and out on my Grandpa's farm in his 1990 Mistubishi farm truck...he was showing me how to drive a stickshift. I could hardly push in the clutch...much stalling followed.
Second car I drove was my '72 Super in a parking lot...the car I learned how to drive a stickshift on. _________________ My '72 Super |

i was probably 8, and my dad tried to teach me to drive a 72 Std beetle. Drove the damn thing off the road because I was more concerned about the clutch. To bad they sold it before I turned 16. |

The first car I drove was a bright yellow 68' bug (my sisters car). My Dad took me to a deserted street and put me in the driver seat. I was only 15. No license, no permit. I picked it up fast. Automatics were a breeze after first learning to drive a stick. _________________ '56 European Oval Ragtop-Stock

I forgot to mention that I did somehow drive my Mom's old Lincoln Continental (the kind with the rear suicide doors) out of the driveway and into the neighbors yard across the street. I think I was about 5. That's what happens when you leave the car running with a curious 5 year old while you run into the house to grab something. She still reminds me of it to this day (35 years later). _________________ '56 European Oval Ragtop-Stock

My first was my fathers 71 camper bus, about 1982, I was seven and did the steering from my dads lap. I still remember it - those were the days... |

well the first motorized vehicle i ever drove was my little offroading scooter my dad got me when i was eight (since then i have done a few "small" modifications - including an engine swap - so it now pushes 60mph with a direct drive single speed mated to a 46cc engine)
the first street legal vehicle i ever drove was my dads 1998 ford f-150 which i drove all over pismo beach. however, after about 5 minutes in the driver seat i proceeded to get a solid 4 feet of air up the bank of a creek (my dad told me to give it some gas to get up )
the first time i drove a vehicle i owned was my buggys first test drive during which i lost both slip on mufflers and various other compression fitted parts doing donuts in a muddy field
the first motorcycle i ever drove was my 2007 honda shadow 600 which was a great starter bike but was somewhat lacking in the power department.
now i ride a 2001 harley sportster 1200 sport with intake and pipe upgrades - much better wheelies/burnouts/girls now _________________ Bermoco buggy on 57 pan - under construction
