I've got a set of original 4 lug sprint stars and two of them have bead leaks. I checked them out in the bath tub yesterday, and both are leaking in the front. One has a space about 3" long where it leaks and the other is on several spots around the front bead. I broke them back down and checked and the tires and rims are both clean. The rims do not have any rust around the bead, but they just will not seal all the way up. Does anyone have suggestions for what type of bead sealer to get? I did some searching on the 'net and have found spray, brush and silicone type of sealers. What's the best? Or should I just run with tubes? One rim is 4.5" and the other is a 5.5". I'm running 185/65R15s.

The black bead sealer works great. It has the brush.

I bought some bead sealer at NAPA last week. I broke the bead on the tires, cleaned both the tire bead and the rim very well, applied the sealer and it's working great. I just wish they had smaller cans. This 32 ounce can is a lifetime supply for me.
