Found some OG curtains that I put up already just for inspiration. Will take down when I start melting in the new Funky Green currently on the way from Bogota. All new brake system minus hard lines.

I crocheted this blanket to match the interior.
It took me about 90 hours to do. It measures 53"x72".

I like how it came out.

Now that I have my carb gremlins sorted out I put in the H4's I've had around since September. All I can say is whoa Shocked I can actually see where I'm going now. If you haven't done this upgrade yet, do it soon. You will not regret it.

Replaced a broken fuse holder for the reverse lights and I also adjusted my brakes just to make sure I had every bit of stopping force possible before heading out Sand Diego.

That would make a badass sweater as well for those cooler camping expeditions.

Sliding door and carbs got love today.

It wouldn't close right after replacing the seal (correctly). Did the Bently adjustments and now everything is working.

BUT, light is coming through along the front at the latch/lock. Door is flush with body at top, bottom and back. But on the front end it's flush with the body near roof and floor, but not in between.

Thoughts?

Also cleaned the linkage for the dual carbs and re greased the little ball joints on also on that linkage.

I'm out doing some beach camping right now. They are Hella's and I think I got them from Bus Depot when they were on sale.

edit;
yep just got into BusDepots page. They were these bodies with 55/60 bulbs...

Just curious. I had "H4's" in one of my buses several years ago and I hated them. On bright, they were great, but on low beam, they pointed into the ground. If you adjusted the low beams so you could see the road, the high beams were shinin' coons in the trees. Is this still the same situation? I would be interested in these if I knew that they actually worked properly. The ones I had were genuine Hella, Made in Germany.

I would like to see them for myself before dropping the dough for a set. Wish we had thought about that when you were here. Oh well.

Mine are very good on low. The lows are shielded at a slight angle from the left to the right so that you get a bit more distance without blinding incoming traffic. The highs are just a tiny bit blotchy, but not to the point where it bothers you.
