anyone know if the rear glass and rubber is the same for a 411/412 sedan as a type 3 fastback?? im looking for a rear window seal, any help would be appreciated! |

No it's not the same, BUT, you can use a Bay BUS front seal I have heard. _________________ 65 Bus, 72 Bus, 63 bus, 98 Golf, 92 Cabrio, 71 Fasty
In the shop a 62 Bus and a 79 bus |

Are you sure you mean FRONT seal?? seems like it would be too fat!? |

i used a beetle windscreen seal and cut it to length and re glued the ends together then just used the original type 4 chrome trim
you could use the cal look ones if you prefer |

I tried email and no response as of today.

I tried to get them on the telephone for you.
It's a little bit easier in your own country.
But they don't pick up the telephone.
When I can have contact with them I answer here on this topic.
Some type-4-drivers here on Samba do already drive with their rubbers. |

Update: I heard back from the company, and they say they have the parts on hand. Just ordered all 6 window seals for my variant, 195 euros shipped, about $216. Pretty cheap, considering I'll save that much on the paint job by giving the painters an easier masking job, plus the quality of the paint will be far superior. I'll update this when I receive the seals and give my review of them. |
