There was a beautiful red ragtop at Bugorama Sacramento Labor Day '08 with BRMs that had the outer edge lip painted red, and it really set off that car. A cheap, quick way to set that car off from all the other red ragtops (seems like almost every ragtop here in Reno is red).

how thick was the painted line (photoshop pic 2, 3 or 4). Im guna get a hold of some 3/8 in pinstriping tape and try that out, just to see how it will look, and play around with some other ideas

The car basically had a pinstripe similar to your photo shop image #3. BRMs have a lip like steel wheels, for mounting wheel weights, and outer edge of this lip was painted. Very nice job, easy to tape off, etc. Not sure if your cookie cutters have the same lip, but it looked like an easy line to paint, just tape off up to the edge, tape off the tire and have at it.

you need to put the circle In a little bit
so you see Shiny on BOTH sides of the stripe

heres what I tried with the pinstrping tape, turned out pretty good, but I definately think there should be some shiny on the outside of the line as well.

I like 'em low, but apparently, compared to many, not nearly low enough. Is that a stock width beam? At BOR 60 last September I had raised up the front of the Roadster to about an inch off the ground (at framehead seam) and didn't pull down Groundscraping Car, which I got at the Irvine Classic in June before raising it up - at that point I only had about 1/4 empty (had to put it at a drivable, but still stupid low, height).

The car looks really nice though - I like seeing chops done up as full-trim street cars.

Yah my car is just low enough to be a daily driver, its not quite as low as I would like it, but it still scrapes ALOT going in drive ways and over speed bumps etc. I still get complements for it being "hella low" but to me its really just a more aggressive stance.

yah its a stock width beam with 6 inch cookie cutters and 195/50/15 tires, with just dropped spindles and stock width fenders
