Well done lad, dragging that beast back to life!
you cant have much welding left to do? |
Just drivers door and dog leg, rest are all small but time consuming things.
At the end I have to turn bus upsidedown and check it below, sandblast it. _________________ Oval 1954

Drivers door were all beaten and crushed. finally I started to work on them.
first I have just returned hinges on where they should be . Next time will fix clearance and position.
Both door on.

I dont think so. It might just be finished with body work and prepared for paint.

I'm surprised the frame rails are so nice. Your barndoor needs a name. I vote for Scabbie, after the scabs of rust |
frame rails were all rusted pictures are after welding is done.
I was never thinking about a name for my barndoor. but I liked when LJay wrote up few posts that I am "dragging that beast back to life".
when I look at my bus after all this work how it is rounded huge and chubby I like to call him a beast. _________________ Oval 1954

Agreed, I keep wincing at the Before pictures, which just makes the After pictures that much better.
Nice work. |
