It seems like a lot of people could use this. I know it would have helped me many times over the years.
Pete at Airkewld has posted it many times, and it's extremely helpful for a lot of wheel/tire fitment questions, as well as how much to narrow a beam, how shorter axles will affect wheel fitment, etc.
Refer to...
A- Hub to Inner Fender clearance, also Offset
B- Hub to Fender clearance, also Backspacing
C- Hub diameter (hubcentric wheels like Porsche...)
D- Rotor/Drum Diameter (stretch it out to include the caliper if you're really going at it)
E- Caliper face to wheel clearance issues
F- Hub face to dust cap distance (need spacers to fit your center caps?)
I'm not an expert, just someone that could have used some of this information over the years, could have saved me much money and many headaches. |
