928 Came on them first in 1977. Some 924's with the 5 lug pattern got them special option after 1986 though. Basically with Porsche you could have gotten a 924 (5 lug) or 944 with whatever Porsche wheel you wanted as long as you special ordered it that way.

The Porsche 928 was unveiled at the 1977 Geneva Motor Show to immediate acclaim and went on to be named Car of the Year 1978 – the first (and last?) time that a sports car has won this accolade – note for comparison - that the 1977 European Car of the year was the Rover SD1.

I'm gonna bump this up. I just picked up a set of dials off CL. Two have been narrowed to 5" for the front, the other two are stock 7"ers. Still have to nail down wide 5 to Porsche adapters and tires. Anymore pics out there? Bahama Blue 66 with Dials maybe? |

Mine have chipped up gunmetal paint on them now, trying to decide whether I wanna do paint, powder coat or polish. |

i dont think they look right polished like fuchs do. they seem to look the best when painted....but thats just my opinion....and its a hell of a lot easier and cheaper!! Ive seen some poweder coated red and they actually looked good on a flat black slammed bus but not for every car....what are you putting them on? _________________ 67 bugs are only days away from being a Fat Chick!
