Since i might be getting a '69 bug i am already trying to decide what wheels i want to get. I saw a picture of a white '69 on here and liked the wheels on it. they are the porsche 2 liter fuchs. i see cip1 has them for $129.99 each. Has anyone used these? If so is the chrome pretty shiny? and would i have any problem putting them on a '69 bug with 2.5 inch dropped spindles? Iv'e heard other people say they rub?

You can probably find real 2 liters out there for that kind of jack.

I've seen sets on Craigslist for $400

Can you tell if the ones on this car are originals or reproduction? http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=277598&highlight=1969

I think thats the look i want to go for, but im not 100% sure if thats the color i want to paint it and if i want those rims (if i even get the car) That car does look sweet though.

Here's a question: how much do the repros weigh and how much do the originals weigh?

Real ones have a 914 part #, they are forged not cast and weigh 13 lbs. They should also have the picture of the fox on the back.
