And am wondering what I have.I think I do know but wondering if IM thinking correctly.I bought a set of Ansens (or so I thought) but once my dad was cleaning them up (i was at work) he found stamped on the inside, Made In Japan. Now I know that Flat 4 makes these style rims BUT these are 13x5.5 and 14x7".Ive never seen a Flat 4 wheel this size.I checked the Flat 4 site and they said on there site that they made 13 and 14" versions of these wheels for a short time.So do I have original Flat 4 Enkei slotted dish wheels?
I'll get pics later if those are needed but they look exactly like the newer 15" version Flat 4 sales now.Any info would be awesome as Id like to see how rare these are.
Thanks

Those aren't Flat 4 wheels, the 13" ones favor ansens of the 205 size from the looks of the face, but its hard telling without a stamped manufacture. Those style wheels were dime a dozen back in the day, with several different companies supplying a slotted wheel.

Yeah the 13's all I could find was a sticker written in japanese. The 14's on the back side they say 14x7 , Made In Japan and a 46-9 whatever that means.I just have never seen a 13x5.5 with the offset they are.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but i really want to know what rims i have.

I have a set of wheels that look almost exactly like this, but mine are steel, 15inch diameter, 5 slot, and 10 inches wide. The only difference is that mine do NOT have the "step" near the outside of the slot. Mine are smooth with only the one step for the tire. Does that make sense. I would post a pic, but my camera broke, and these are the closest i could find. Thanks

I had a set of very similar rims on my '72 Toyota Corolla. As someone else said, that style was everywhere back in the day. Think mine were called "Ultralights".

Thats what I was thinking, several old Toyotas and Datsuns came with wheels like that. Back when the cars were made in Japan - probably had a Japanese wheel maker making rims for them.... So who knows who the manufacture was....

Ansen, Appliance...

Do the datsuns, and toyotas you are talking about have the same lug pattern as a beetle? So these wheel are from a nissan? The wheels are 12 inches wide (from the inside), but the tires are 10 inches wide (wrong tires i guess?). It looks almost exactly like the one in the pic below, except it is not aluminum, and the tire stem is just on the inside part (the part of the wheel that is as wide as the tire). not on the slot. and again, my wheel is steel, not aluminum.

Well the main reason for me asking, is not really to find out what the wheel is (though that would be cool), but im looking for two more wheels the same, just not as wide (like 5 or 6 inches). I only have two 12inch wide wheels for the rear, and i need the two front 5 or 6 inch wheels.

Thanks for all of the help so far.
