Is there a difference in split 14" and bay 14" rims besides the hubcap clips?

This 15" wheel was the spare in a 60 Mango.
I have never seen this style before.
Does anyone know from which car it is?

Can someone tell me which is what with these 2? The one on the left is the "normal" one? If so, then what is the one on the right from? They're both 15".

Since I don't see hubcap clips on the one on the right, it's probably 61- super early 1964 Type 3. Post a full photo and I can tell you for sure. _________________ How to Post Photos

I have never seen one of theses before. The squared off corners on the inside are completely different. Are there any stampings to tell which manufacture or dates? _________________ nothing |

I have a question, what's the difference between a 5.5x15" and 4.5x15", both are 5x205. Which one should I use to my 1962 bus? |

Is it Ford? Old Tractors and early cars used a similar looking bolt pattern. |

Lemmerz aka Crowsfoot wheels are backspaced 1/4" more than KPZ and the slot appears larger. Good wheels for those running a 2" narrowed front beam. Clears the step in the inner dogleg better. |
I have 3 crowsfoot and one none crowsfoot 15" rims that I am going to have to run, will this create any tracking or handling problems considering the 1/4 more offset on the one side? |

The statement of the extra offset on crow's foot wheels is a myth. Measure yours for yourself and you will see that there is no more than 1/16" difference in offset between the wheel types. _________________ nothing |

Does anyone know the size of the valve stem holes for stock 15" bus rims? I discovered that there are different size valve stems available for different size holes, but can't figure out what size I need. |

Nevermind, I figured it out. For posterity: The size is TR415, or .625" |

Did you guys know that 15" bus wheels were made into the early 70's. They were used as an option on a Thing (type181).
Here is a picture from the Thing parts catalog, and the 15" wheel has a bus part number!
