I recently bought a set of tail light assemblies from a guy in Brazil. The new assemblies have a two bulb system and of course the old ones have one bulb. Looking at the diagram it looks like the circut for the brake light comes through the flasher relay and out to the tail lights. Does anyone know if there is a way to seperate this circut so the turn signal and the brake light impluses come down seperate lines? I was thinking that I could probably just wire direct to the brake light switches and then to the brakelight section of the new taillight. Is this a bad idea? Are there any other ways?

This is for a pre 68 bus so you will need to check a wiring diagram to see if it will work for you.....
Remove the "out" signal wire from your master cylinder brake light stop switch. (I just disconnected mine and wrapped it with electrical tape)This is the switch located on the master cylinder.
Connect a new wire to that terminal on your stop light switch(the "out" terminal you just took off) and run it to the rear of the bus. Now you have a new brake light wire that needs to be run to both buckets and the old brake/turn signal wire now attaches to the upper bucket and the other two are for the lower bucket.

| Amber goes on top. I had those Brazillian lights and I could never get the bulb to stay in. German ones are better. You should look to upgrade as soon as you find some. German ebay is a good place to start. You can go to av.com and go 'translate' and enter ebay.de and get most of the site in english. |

| Do yourself a favor and buy a pair of German Euro lights. They are 500% better than the Brazillian ones. I've owned both and the difference is extremely great! |

Static, email me with prices. These are the dual bulb holders right?
I had some repros before and I had to add more solder to the bulb to keep in in there! The repro lenses fade out pretty quick too. |
