Nice bus. Did I hear that you found it on CL and paid $6k for it? You stole that bus dude. Good job. |
Yes, I did. It was traded in, to a small dealership for a Chevy "mud" truck by and 19 year old just north of Atlanta.
When I got there to look at it, the owner of the lot, explained that there was a guy driving from NC to buy it....When I broke out the cash, he called the man and told him to turn around, it was sold.
I think it was a steal too and perfect for me. I wanted something I could enjoy right away....and I DO! _________________ Rich

Installed my new kick panels (ABS Plastic)
Didnt want to cut my new panels so I mounted the speakers under the glove box....out of sight, but not out of sound! Also added some black board to the inside of the glove box to hide the backs of the speakers...
Cleaned up my headliner. Not to bad for being white and 40 years old!
Local club.... Georgia Dubs (Aircooled Airheads)

Finally got my rear jail bars from BusDepot.
Ebayed some new hubcaps, Don't feel as solid as the originals, but a lot shiny'r with less meetings with a curb.
Also found some old suff for the back.

I found it at busdepot.com
http://www.busdepot.com/details.jsp?partnumber=BD102
Its basically a cup holder attached to a piece of wood approx 2x4 with slits cut in it so that it slides into ashtray....a little pricey (30$)
but its worth being able to put your coffee down when its time to shift ! _________________ Rich
