I bought a set of EMPI 8 spokes style wheels. They are 15 X 5.5 and all it reads on them is "Max load 200PSI" and "15inch X 5.5 AVANTE".

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

A search for Avante brings up nothing. The wheel is a one piece 8 spoke 4 lug.

Any ideas?

Not really just wanted to know. I didn't know they were cloned.

Look on the inside part of the wheel and on the inner bead area. Should have size markings along with ET and company make.

The markings I wrote in the first post is all that is on them.

On another note, what color should I paint the inside? I have a triple white vert and the black paint was peeling off anyway so I'm removing it.

I was thinking leaving them bear chrome.

Give em another look see. Mfg usually mark them on the inside of the wheel or on the part where the tire currently is.

No tires on them and I blasted them today. No other markings than those mentioned in my first post.

Weird usualy they have info for tracking purposes.
Maybe the age of the wheel is why they don't.

These standard 4x130?

Also the only reference I can find to a AVANTE wheel, was a hyundai.

I've been stripping the paint off but they seem to be 4X130. I'll try them on the car tomorrow. I did a disk brake conversion in the front and I want to make sure they clear the caliper before I put the tires on them.

I realize this post is 6 yrs old, but I just bought 2 Avante wheels and can't find any info online either. Was mainly wondering if there were any center caps available as the Empi caps are too small.
