He has a stock T3 exhaust for 350 but an entire bug for 1800. I don't get it.

why would I buy an OK 1100 engine when I can get a whole bug with running 1600 for half that!

Nope, the VW logos are that way to skirt copyright- those were aftermarket accessory wheel covers in the '70s, "Made In Japan".

Of course, it had an engine and heater boxes attached, but who's counting?
