I've got one for a T34... so, based on this I'm thinking what? 7? 800? _________________ Air does not freeze. Air does not boil.

$1800 for a used wrap dash preys on the desperate. Wait a while and they pop up, on average, of once or twice per year...not including ebay listings. |

I saw those ads and I have been trying to get my eyebrows back down from the top of my head since.
That dash is most definitely used and the underside cracks are going to be big problems in short order once installed again.
Wowie zowie. Crack pipe pricing at its most extreme. There must be some reeeeeeally good shit being toked at the Warehouse. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

I've bought Type 3 stuff from Greg in the past and it's always been great stuff at really decent prices. I just don't get this. It's not just Greg, either- I can buy Mercedes SL parts cheaper sometimes- in fact, lots of times. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

My whine is , WHERE DID HE FIND ALL THAT NOS STUFF SO FAST?? It took me like 15 years to find NOS stuff for my squareback and he had that car for like 1-2 years?? _________________ I'd be UNSTOPPABLE if not for Law Enforcement and PHYSICS.
I recycle old cars and parts, other than when I rot, that's as Green as I am going to get.
Thanks to my Tesla driving neighbors, I feel more relaxed driving my SUBURBAN and old VW's.

Didnt most of those parts come with that black notch he sold awhile ago? I seem to remember the ad saying that there were a bunch of NOS parts available to go with the car. _________________ '65 1500 S [quareback]

I've bought stuff from Greg too. He also transported a car for me a reasonable price. So...who knows. _________________ Tom Reay

Here's a wild one... (Weber Progressive on a Type 4 with no cooling system boot aside):
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1810540
I've been in touch with the seller to explain to him how model years work. However, if the tag in the door is to be believed, this is a second- design car built in 1969 BUT with all matching 1969 VIN numbers??? (Seller says they all match!)
I think somebody put a late body on a 1969 chassis and I think the door jamb sticker is fudged, esp since it appears to be ON brand- new paint. Has anyone been reproducing these stickers???
EDIT: Just heard back from the seller- he had the door jamb sticker made and they "guessed" at the build date...
Yes the sticker I had made with my Vin number. I didn't know the date so the maker used Sept 69. The Vin tag and tunnel tag both match as a 1969. California plates changed from 1969 to 1970. 69 was last year to have a black plate. In 70 it changed to blue. They will not register it if the years don't match. It's really weird
Not weird at all, somebody mated two cars.
I asked the seller what the original tag said. We'll see. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.
