NOS isn't drying up - it takes patience to find parts and deeper pockets than most are comfortable with...

As far as 'worth' and 'value'...these are not cars that you can restore and then turn around and sell them to recover your money - let alone make a profit - on that work.

All hobbies have an 'entrance' and 'exit'. Not many 75 year old dudes still into RC cars, right? Laughing

NOS will always have its place when the guy looking for it wants or must have it deep pockets or not

Mosts cars are "money pits" and very very few make much if any profit BUT yet there are guys still building them year after year in all categories of cars😉

No, no, no, no, no, no, NO!

You absolutely can not have $14K for a car with an exposed Type 1 engine in the cabin.

Makes you wonder what they used to hold the "moter" up with. Rolling Eyes He only put 5000 into it, and that "new trans" must be special since he mentioned it 3 times in his ad.

This car is like "Brewster's Millions"...where the hell did $5k go on this car?

Makes me feel a lot better about what I've spent on a car that's still in pieces... Laughing

That guy is out of his mind. That might be a $1400 car though.

I like how it doesn't have an air cleaner. I guess if the air inside the car is good enough for the driver to breathe unfiltered, it's good enough for the engine!

'better' is subjective, but I would to have another all stock notchback to roll, and not be white.... It'll come Smile

I like my notch for what it is. Non correct resto that looks nice, is solid and will be on the road for may years. When you buy a time capsule like that one you find yourself limited. You become a keeper of the car, worrying about this and that -not wanting to spoil that og stank.

Im serious when I say Im altering my car to my specs. One day it may be a convertible Think Who knows where we will end up Rolling Eyes Laughing
