Have my engine out for a quickie rebuild, so I pulled the trans to change the mounts. Also chipped away 47 years of grease and dirt. Yuk! |

It looks as though you're replacing a fair amount of sidewalk as well. |

My horn stopped working. I remembered I had the horn from my Scion that was wrecked 2 years ago. Put that on there and, yes!! My horn works! And it's much louder |

A true VW guy...VW covered inside the garage! Concrete looks nice.
Hope that is a tandem garage you have there, if not you need to ADD ON. Never enough garage space for Volkswagens!
Enjoy your new walks and driveway. _________________ '65 T1 Sedan

Put the hood standoffs on for the approaching summer. Cursed at the leaky oil drain plug. |

Got the Bug back from the Bug Shop today with a new correct color steering wheel, newly painted steering column housing, correct color grab handle and a set of Pop-Outs, amount a few other things like electronic distributor, new windshield, wiper motor and valves adjusted. The heater also got some work done on it. I now have heat for next winter. A new speedometer cable was installed. No more click, click, click that just about drove me nuts.

Getting ready to drive in the Branford, CT Memorial Day Parade, Monday, May 27th, 2014, with Doug the '60 Bug. This was the pre-parade staging scene at the Town Green, while ceremonies were going on (yes, there was another Bug there, a beige '66, slightly visible at left edge of photo):

Mocked up the tyres and rims for the L41 on the Patina Project. These are the tyres of choice for the Gulf Blue now too! Added the hub cap trim rings too.
