From Kris Klingaman's world reknown drag car just before he sold it and then it was crashed (and repaired...).

I have a fetish for one year only 1964 Deck Lids.

It all started after I got my 64 and realized it had a 58-63 deck lid. The model was late enough that it was well past the... put on the 63 lids untill we run out.

I now have 14 total Rolling Eyes

My wife just does not understand.

Laughing

I'm not sure anyone here would disagree with your wife on that point. Wink

I seem to be drawn to emblems & logos, and also owner's manuals...I am a recovering VW toy addict, and now force myself to only buy toys of VW models I have actually owned.
And for some other odd reason I collect the bay window Westy plaids...not sure why, but I'm sure eventually I will do something with them...

Original KdF stuff is my favorite, like paperwork, manuals, brochures, postcards, original blueprints, letters, unpublished original photos, press photos, pins, dinner plates, knifes and forks, parts and all things original kdf.
Non KdF items I like are Porcelain (enamel) Dealer signs in different variations and languages. More significant (personal) Dealer items like Dealer Award Plaques, desk pen/scissor sets, lighters and unusual VW advertising give away items & some posters. That's enough for me! Very Happy
