I read on vw-resource about the need for an alt warning light but I can't get a clear picture of how to wire it. I have a internal regulator. One wire runs from D+ to the light. What else do I do?

Form D+ on alternator to one side of lamp, other side of lamp to "switched" (ign) +12 volts...
