Ulras were popular in the off road scene. Dig around on Race-Dezert.com. They're definitely out there.

Those were the hottest wheel in Baja before Robbie Gordon came out with his wheel. Then followed by Walker Evans and KMC. And I'm not talking about your basic run of the mill baja bug either. We're talking 1/4 to 1/2 million dollar Class 1 cars! No buddy really runs them in competition anymore. They were made by Ultra Wheels.
