I do think the price of the bug heater channels is a tad steep. Almost $400 a side? Too rich for my blood. $400 for a pair? I'm in. Just saying. It is nice seeing someone making quality sheet metal though!

then buy the shitty ones and do them every 3 years

$800 to save your car, that's a deal. I wouldn't spend the money on a 1973 super beetle, but any pre 1957 car can be saved for another 50years.

.... And that's why people who make really nice stuff quit making it!

Hater Wink I'd spend $800 on heater channels if my 74super needed them. (I've got a hell of a lot in it so far Laughing ). I mean really, it doesn't matter what year you're bug is, you're gonna spend more restoring it then it'll ever be worth anyway, And besides, I don't ever plan on selling it, so who cares how much I spend on it Twisted Evil

90% of the Type 3 crowd won't spend $200 each for heater channels including any/all the rust free front/rear inner fenders needed attached! Rolling Eyes

hence the reason why we have not made the type3 heater channels...there is just no market for these parts at the prices that we, the manufacturers need to charge in order to stay in business....BTW, the type1 heater channels are $300.00 each, not $400.00.... Very Happy Very Happy
