I would like to know how much it would cost to set up a stock 68 VW beetle to run with new 18" honda rims and tires. how much could it cost to machine drill and tap the threads for a newer type of rim set up?

Don't ask us! Ask your local Machine Shop?

I figure some one has had it done before? There must be a price that some one has paid to have this done?
Thanks for all the informative information though I do appreciate every reply.

I think I will call some of the local machine shops. I just wish there was some one on thesamba.com that has done this before.

lots of people here have had a new pattrn drilled. i'm sure someone has even done the honda pattern(i don't know but it seems like it's 4x100 and if so someone in the ype3 forums just had it done), but unless you find someone here local to you thats not much help. shipping your stuff to someone else to have it done will add a good bit to the cost. filling out your local in the profile section may help find someone who has had it done in your area. or actually putting your area in the thread title...ken....
