We have been looking to get new ones, but not spend too much. It's not going well.

Where do you guys buy tires? Locally, or what?

Hubby wants to buy 4 for $200 something at JC Whtny, I say don't do it. What if you don't like them? Anyone get these? What quality are they?

then take them to a local shop for mount and balancing...

i buy my Cooper 165R15 tires and most of my tires for my cars at Import Export tires or Flynn Tires both are in the Irwin, PA area.

i do. generally a wheel works or similar. i call around first to see who has what i need in stock and for how much first. also my local vw flaps carries common vw size tires as well.

Nankangs have been good to me, affordable and work fine, you can find them on any VW site-including this one.
