Wel I am still having a problem with my 74 Super Beetle not wanting to idle. It has a new carb on it, less than 2 weeks old. Was running great then the next thing you know she won't idle.

I check the auto shut off and it works fine, took the elecric choke off and checked it and it works fine. The only way I can get it to idel is to use a rubber band to hold the flap in the top of the carb almost shut, otherwise the flap is open all the time and it will not idel.

Anyone have any ideas of what could case this? Thanks

Ray
