I wouldn't be leaving the area given how crazy that fire is. |

If you got an evacuation notice, are you going to hang around? |

Hey everyone......my local Discount Tire shop found their balancer tool for wide 5 wheels. As many of you know, most tire shops can no longer balance our wide 5 wheels so I was stoked to hear they have one. They balanced a pair of centerlines for me.
Give Eric a call at Discount 303-692-0802 at the 6901 East Hampden Avenue location if you need your wheels balanced! |

205-55-15. ~24" tire. I took my ragtop out last night, and it wraps up the RPMs wicked fast. I'm pretty sure it will be faster at Bandi this year! Hopeing for 14.8 or better |

I meant, I wouldn't totally leave town. I think might is pretty south of where the fires are, but they are damn scary. |

Thanks for the the good thoughts, phone calls and messages. I'm in Seattle right now with Kim, who is attending a conference as a representative of a non-profit she volunteers with in the Springs. I most definitely wouldn't leave due to the fires. This has been in the works for a few months now. The fires weren't part of the plan.
We're VERY fortunate that the fires are well North of us, though the folks in the affected zone didn't think the fires would get to them either. The access road to the area above us has been closed by the City and the Friends of Cheyenne Canyon organization are looking for volunteers to man the entrance preventing people from getting up in the hills. With what appears to be an arsonist on the loose, you can't be too safe. I hope to help out when I get back.
I watched this fire start on the first day and the only thing more shocking than how fast it spread was the lack of response from air support during the initial stages. The fact that entire Front Range is a tinder box right now along with the fire mitigation imposed over the last few years would make you think that they would have aerial crews at the ready for such a situation. From what I saw, this wan't the case. I'm not a fire fighting expert, but I know that you're not going to drop a bunch of guys in a canyon with no water resource to fight a fire like this. This kind of stuff needs to be attacked from the air.
Washington is a beautiful State and I'm enjoying my visit, but I'm looking forward to getting back to my home, shop, dogs and friends soon. See you guys at the Syndicate show in July! _________________ Mike K

How many people want/can got to this show? Its a non-VW event but is open to all cars and especially ratrods and hotrods. They're going to have a vintage swimsuit contest and a live band! Should be fun.
I'd like to caravan down there so who's up for it? |

Can any help me locate a set 4 roller wide 5 wheels in a normal 165 ish size tire? they do not have to be pretty, just rollers. I would need them for good, not borrow.
Really appreciate it. Jon

Its that time again, Syndicate CC Summer Show.
Saturday July 14th!
Save this date, Next Saturday.....
We're really stoked about the location this year, the event is at Local 46 Bar located at the corner of 46th & Tennyson.
So check out the Rides, grab a beer, food trucks will be in the parking lot.
Plenty of parking, you can even hang out at Berkley park right across the street.

Here's a few from today. It was a really cool show, friendly people, good food and some really nice VW's...
Thanks for putting this show on!
