I got pulled over by an Arvada cop a couple months ago because of the year of manufacture plates on my Camaro. He wasn't aware that you could do that so I had to show him all the paperwork and then he still had to go sit in his car and call someone to make sure I wasn't lying. |

Saturday, August 30th. You are correct. I'll post some more info when I get a chance. The itinerary is the same as previous years with a couple of small changes. Hope to see you all there!

The Mission:
Join VW Bus fans from near and far Saturday, August 30th, as Bulli Klinik VW Shop and Bristol's Brewing presents, Buses at the Brewery 2014! This FREE event is open to all VW Buses as well as vintage VW,'s, Porsche's, and European Scooters. As in past events, Type 2's are given priority parking around the Brewery. Come celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bristol Brewing at the historic Ivywild School! Offering patios and a modern taproom overlooking the Buses only parking area, this is sure to be a memorable event!
The Cruise:
The day begins with a cruise through the historic West side of our beautiful city. We will meet in the parking lot of Great Harvest Bread Company located at 1466 Garden of the Gods Road. Take exit 146 off of Interstate 25, head West (towards the mountains) 1.3 miles and the shopping area will be on your right. We will begin assembling cars for the cruise at 9:30 AM with a departure time of 10:00 sharp. The cruise will wind through some of the scenic routes our city has to offer with our destination being Bristol's Brewery. Bring your camera as there will be some not to be missed opportunities for photographs!
The Show:
Bristol's Brewing is located at 1604 South Cascade Ave, take exit 140 (Tejon Street) off of Interstate 25, South on Tejon 0.3 miles to a right on Navajo and you'll run right into it. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon perusing some of the finest VW's in Colorado at this non-judged event. Sample delicious treats from the bars, restaurants and shops of the Ivywild Collective. And of course, quaff an award winning brew, fresh from the source! We hope to see you there!! _________________ I've never met a Bus I didn't like.

Big thanks to the clubs and individuals who showed up to make this such a great event; Syndicate Car Club, PPVWC, Speed Slow, SVD, Colorado Bus Club, VW Enthusiasts, Peak Scooter Club, SOCO Transporters and anyone which may have left out! Also, big ups to Mike, Kristen, Matt and the rest of the Bristols/Ivywild crew for their continued support in making this the PREMIER Bus event in Colorado. Thanks from the Buses at the Brewery Crew! _________________ I've never met a Bus I didn't like.

Does anyone have contact info for the guys who sell manx body's at the bug in swap?
Been outta the loop for a while. Bought my first house sold my 60 and tryed the v8 thing. Workin on having a running car next season. May not be bad ass but at least it will be a vw. Kinda cool to see a pic of my car was used for the vw mania flier. And made me regret selling it that much more... unless I am on crack and that isnt it.. |
