I recall a 356 in one of the European mags in the last couple years. It had a set of (i'm guessing EMPI) five spoke rims with a Porsche lug pattern. They looked sweet. I haven't seen a set since.
So my question is: Who made them? Can anyone pull up a picture, or chime in on rarity & value.

is it just me or does It look like you can just have some empi 5 spokes welded up and then drill new holes? shouldnt be that hard to have made

Exactly what I was thinking! There are always sets for sale on here.
You might ask, "Why not just use the wide five pattern?" Well, they would be for my 67 Fastback which is originaly 4 lug. To me it seems more acceptable to change to Prosche pattern rather than go to an early 5x205 pattern. Besides, I like to try to be a little different.
Eight spokes are completely out of the question too!

ya i had the four lug pattern on my 02 mex pan that I put on my 62 chop.
if you go the porsche pattern there are alot more options, gas burners, fuchs, phone dials, cookie cutters, etc. all of which are better lookin than 8 spokes
