I have a nice pair of 145 & 165 Michelin XZX's which I plan on running with my stock width fronts and widening my stock rears. What is the widest recommend rim for the 165R's (5.5, 6, 6.5)? I'm looking for a flush sidewall to rim look. If it matters I plan on doing a 2" narrowed adj. beam with drop spindles and one notch in the rear.
Thanks for looking Eddie (813) 624-4713 (FL) |

You won't want to widen the rears. 145 and 165 XZXs are perfect for stock wheels. If you widen the rears you'll have less sidewall bulge and they tyres will look narrower than the fronts. _________________ '67/'68 Cal Look Beetle, 2007cc, 48IDFs, 14.4 @ 93mph, Oct 2017.
