Here is a very rare Landmark bus for 700 bucks. The wheels are there and so is the roof rack!

No engine, wacky type III rack drilled to roof and half a 73 westy kit?
If say it's fair, but not "good" IMHO. |

for $1000 it sure is. If you can play your cards right, it should be easy to get that price down. _________________ Wash your hands

Rear Bumper appears to be from a 72...
looks like it was a westy originally...sink vent cover is in the roof as it should.... 73 had a different color and grain lam. _________________ Sam

Not a bus or an old part, but just a head's up about a good deal. JOGR.com has rock-roll beds right now for a few days at just 350 each including shipping. I just grabbed one. While supplies last... I don't work for them so this isn't a commercial plug. Just a happy spender. _________________ 1977 Westfalia "Happy"

I bought one of the BlazeCut engine bay fire suppressors there. _________________ 78 Riviera

Lately ive been seeing a ton of Westfalia's for sale in the 20K range, but almost none of them are worth it. The only way id buy a Westy for that price was if it was almost NOS and under 70K miles - OR if the *right* person did the work on it.
This is the latter. He's a Samba member so you can easily enough research the work ethic of the person who's done the work, one of the most important parts of buying a used bus IMHO. All of the modifications done to it are ones id have done myself, if I had thought of them first. (the subwoofer installation idea alone is worth borrowing someday)
Im guessing this would have been sold a long time ago if it wasn't way the heck up here in the middle of nor-nor-nor-cal, but hopefully someone who really loves these busses ends up with it and not just some kid with too much money in the bank. |

I'm not even a fan of late bays, or westies, but that is a damn nice bus. Though I don't always make it happen, I do love to see meticulous details like this bus shows.
Do you know his samba name? I would love to see some his other work. _________________ nothing |

I've been watching the price drop on this 75' for Months.
Owner finally got it down to $1000 obo and I'd go for it but have enough to work on with Gloria.

This doesn't seem like too bad of a deal for Eastern Canada. I'm in the same city but don't want another bay unless it's a cheap parts bus. _________________ 1977 2.0L FI Westfalia.
