Absolutely, I saw your thread earlier. Price would have to come down a bit though. What do you think its worth? |

Oh it's so far gone that the fact its a champagne edition is hardly a saving grace in my opinion. I love these buses with everything I've got, but I'd look that one over real carefully for rust. And mice. And spiders. And snakes. lol
It's corroded to shit everywhere, it's dirty as shit everywhere.
Conveniently, no pics of the rockers or the underside, and I spy with my lil eye, some weird flaky business on the driver's side rocker. The bus is hardly worth $600-$800 in my eyes. The rest of their asking price you'd have to spend on a haz-mat suit just to get started on the damn thing.
I picked up a fully OG champagne, numbers matching, rolling, complete but non-running for half of what they're asking.
I'll get off my soapbox and simply say that $2200 is pretty high. Or the seller is pretty high. _________________ -Tony

$2200 is definitely way too high. Around here people think their junk is worth a lot. I think I'll jump on it if it hits $800 though. If nothing else, I'll have a parts engine |

Notchboy, I agree.
kooper271, if you do wind up buying it, I may be interested in a few small champagne bits. _________________ -Tony

That would go for $2200 all day long on the jersey shore. Omg are buses expensive here! _________________ 1975 Beetle 1600dp 4spd Daily Driver.

I would have loved my project to start with those three vehicles. _________________ Brutis Patches Izabich: 1970 VW Transporter - 1776cc DP

There are some nice buses listed there! |
Yes, I'm particularly impressed with the inventory of single and double cabs, which makes sense because the farmers would have room to keep an older vehicle.
I found it amusing that the seller of the 1,200 Euro single cab says "no time wasters" in his add -- sounds just like Craigslist. |

$550 for a running 2.0 motor that needs work + $100 for FI parts.

Scored a NOS Ate brake master cylinder for $115 shipped on the classifieds. But did I really score??
Can't find any reference to part #'s on Ate parts to check compatibility, thought for sure it was the one I was needing. 74 Westy with servo, two brake switches with 3/ prong switches. Layout of this unit is completely different, anyone know what it goes to??

Not sure what that goes to, but I bought this new ATE MC on ebay.

Fits perfectly, the only difference is that the both brake light switches point straight out instead of one being angled down slightly. It also has a brake line port on the back of it which you can easily plug. Note: it does not come with brake light switches. _________________ Cream Puff

Worth it just for parts alone? Posted 22 hours ago.

SamboSamba22,
Let me know if you save it. I'd love to hear if there is a happy ending. Seems almost too good to be true, but hopefully you or someone else can snag it and give it some TLC. _________________ 1977 Westfalia "Happy"
