A 2005 PT Cruiser with less than 12,000 miles, and without walking out in the 98 degree temps we are having today, I have no idea of the engine size or HP.

1600cc d.p. with following mods-
welded c/w crank
Engle w100 cam
dual Kadron 40mm's
generic merged exhaust w/turbo muffler
009 dizzy w/Pertonics Ignitor (I figure this alone is worth 100 h.p., lol)
-in a '69 Bug
My bro. did all the work, so you tell me how much h.p. I have. I'd be happy with 75. _________________ '69 VW Beetle |

Temporarily my DD is the 74 Westy. 2.0 T4, Kadrons, Raby cam, and a header, maybe 80 hp.
My usual DD is the 71 Kombi. Currently suspected to be a stock 1600DP (we'll know more when I take it apart), probably down to about 30 to 35 hp. Coming soon, a 1679DP with stock intake and a header. 50 hp would be alright. _________________ 2000 M Roadster

2006 Infiniti G35, made 307hp stock, probably in the range of maybe 350hps now with the various mods thrown up there. 3.5L V6
And just for a little bragging,
And by daily, this is only once or twice a week depending on if it's cool enough (much more often in the winter)
1969 Chevy, 425 Dynod RWHP. Won't beat some of the VW's here but it will pull 13 flat all day.

Rainy Days: 94 VW Jetta 2.0. Tectonics 268 cam, exhaust, and chip. Solid 34mpg with premium gas. Snowy Days: 87 Audi 4000 Quattro 24mpg on 87. Lately I've been driving 66 Beetle with a 2110 engine. I have not yet calculated the mpg. |
