Sorta...channels fitted, got the pan out of the dungeon and underneath the bug. Gonna set the body down, bolt down what I can, tack it in place, then lift the body back up and burn everything in.

Just got word that my longblock is done, too (just a stock 1600.)

Short to-do list:

Pan out of the dungeon, and in position:

Body on pan...finally.

Everything lined up better than expected. Right now it's just setting on the channels and front firewall...nothing welded in yet. Hopefully I'll be welding everything up in the next couple of days.

It looks like you got a little side tracked or the Miller High Life was kicking in near the bottom of your list. Laughing Channels are looking good!

OKAY!
Got the rear torsion bars, spring plates w/new bushings, shocks, and transaxle in. Shifter hooked up and shiftin'. All brakes hooked up and adjusted. Set 'er back down on all fours for the first time in a few years.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

I totally guessed with the spring plate settings. I'll need to get the engine and glass in to let the suspension settle...but I can already tell I need to go quite a bit lower in the back.
Next is brake bleeding, electrical work, fenders, glass, etc. Engine should be ready to pick up this coming weekend.
I'll see if I can snap a few pics of by buddy's Dodge next time I'm out there. The '80 Heavy Chebby is my other friend's sweet ride.

Today I got the left front fender on, steering coupler attached, turn signal switch disassembled and fixed, a couple pieces of trim installed, and a shiny new side view mirror slid on there. Wiring looks completely unmolested, so that's good.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

You can see I cleaned a bit of woods skank off the fender.

Looking awesome Cully....now go rub on her for awhile. You ought to shine exactly 1/2 of the car and take a side by side comparo pic.
Set to debut at Junebug or Funfest?

Roy, I'm shootin' for JuneBug. It's gonna be a stretch. I'll probably have time to drive it around the block a few times, then get on the highway and drive the 170 miles to Springfield. I'm gonna borrow D's roof rack and Allan's tow bar!

Kidding about the subs. I have an old Sapphire II to fill the radio hole...that's about it as far as a "system".
Today I got the right front junkyard fender and turn signal on. It's original paint turkis underneath a respray. I'll work on exposing the original paint or creating some fake-tina on that fender eventually. The front corner here was crunched pretty good in a wreck...you can see some wrinkling behind the fender.

Latest news:
Got a starter and a free (Mopar?!) battery thanks to Garner. Started cleaning all the connections. Got the headlight buckets in, front turn signals hooked up. Tossed in the battery and tested it out. Headlights, front turn signals, wiper motor, and parking lights now work, and the starter spins up. So far so good!
Picked up my engine today and started assembly.
Misc done:
-Glove box trim
-Right rear trim
-Sapphire installed
-Speedometer repaired and installed
-New regulator mounted up on the right side of engine compartment
Next up:
-Finish engine & install
-Adjust rear suspension
-Clean fuel tank and finish fuel system
-Finish brakes & bleed
-Align front end and install steering wheel
-Install glass
-Freak out
-Drive this fucker
-Drink more High Life.
