I am looking to make my car a class 11 and my next thing to worry about are the tires. I have seen a lot of guys running as big as 31x10.50x15 and I just don't see how they do it. Must be the exact correct backspace so I was wondering what wheels you guys use to fit 30x9.5 or bigger. I understand that I will probably have to respline but that was just a given. |

You'll probably want to ask in the off-road forum here.
The class 11 racers I've seen use stock wheels. I've also seen stock-ish aftermarket wheels used too (Empi 5 or 8 spokes, Rivieras, etc).
I think the biggest thing is lifting the suspension so the tire fits with the stock wheels.
Not sure if class 11 cars use a body lift, but you definitely could if you aren't looking to race. _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

By rules a real class 11 uses stock tires. What are stock any ways? I bought mine with 205/60/14 rears and 175/65/14 fronts. I think I will ask in the OR forum then. Probably more of those guys browse there than here. Thanks though. I just want to get lift/bigger wheels/better OR performance with out big changes and Class 11 seems to be the way. |
