Beer and not-pizza? Micky Finns on Woodstock has decent beer and there's the BiMart parking lot across the street...

Headed to Zig Zig for my 3rd weekend in a row. Going to pick Morels. I found about a pound and a half up there last weekend.

Side note to CJ, I will be at Silver Falls next weekend!

Looking forward to tonight folks! Thanks again for doing this. I am sans Van but judging by the nice busses I've seen this week I wouldn't have much to show anyway Confused

See ya'll tonight.

The mention of paint has been posted here so let me give props where they are due.
Today I went to see the camper at the paint shop. It had only emerged from the oven an hour or so earlier. My goodness, they painted it nice. Escorial green is amazing when new and shiny. Wow. *Pictures next week.
.
So let me do a HUGE shout out to the crew at MAACO of Gresham. It is owned by Mr. Jody Noto. Great team, great paint, great value and top notch customer service. Recommended shop.

Jeffery,

Yeppers, we'd love to see some photos! I think your van has a very nice look. Post some photos here when you can, and I'd still like to see it in person soon.

Heyo Portland Peeps,

A slightly new topic here.

I'd like to hear suggestions for a decent stereo installer in Portland who has experience with our vans. I have all the various components (speaker, subwoofer and amp) and simply want them put in right the first time. I went to a reputable local shop today, and was rather shocked at the quote.

I'd like a few more quotes. Can you steer me to the right place? Any personal stories to share?

Cheers,
CJ

.. aren't the new high-top installs being done at a custom auto sound shop in the 'Couve? Maybe they'd be up to the task...

CJ - Bring your tools with you. There should be enough brain power there this weekend to get it done!

Yes, but I think the available alcohol and other substances will more than offset the available brain power!

BUMP

Still looking for a Co-Pilot for my MOAB trip, leaving on the 23rd.....anyone want to come play?

Have a great time at Silver Falls. I will think of you all while I am working. Take lots of pictures. Looks like it is going to be an EPIC weekend Cool

Well, my co-pilot for SyncroZest, Moab, UT~ May 24-27, 2012 is 100% out. He cannot get the coverage he needs. I am opening up a co-pilot spot with certain conditions Very Happy I gotta like you Laughing
It is a long trip and it would be nice to have a co-adventurer along with.
Limited time offer/Certain restrictions apply/Void where prohibited

I will be departing on the morning of the 23rd, and coming back by the 28th, but, with the right co-pilot, I may be encouraged to take my time on the way home Cool

I will go it alone, no problem, just thought I would offer up an opportunity to a PDX-er.
Please reply by PM if interested "SyncroZest, Moab, UT~ May 24-27, 2012"
