Went to buy a knob for a jalousie window and ended up finding/buying a bunch of missing tins, exhaust parts, and misc bits from him. SUPER nice, helpful guy. He helped me understand what I was getting and what I needed for my year late bay. Even took the time to review how to replace the fuel lines for my '78 Westy. He'll be the first seller I look up the next time I need a part. Very Happy

Bought 7 pieces of engine tin and an exhaust support strap from Raul earlier this month (July 2012). All pieces arrived in great shape USPS, good packaging, each piece of tin wrapped in clear plastic. Excellent transaction overall - would definitely do business with Raul again.

I bought a heater tube from vw76westy for my '72 bus. The one that goes from the left heater box to the engine compartment. The price was right. It is in super condition and still has a lot of the original paint! It arrived packed in bubble wrap. I'd definitely buy from him again!

Bought a swivel seat base from Raul. I can't believe how well he packaged it for shipping and how fast it got to me. I would definitely recommend buying from him, I'm sure I'll be getting more from him in the future.

Thanks Raul!

I hate to post bad feedback, because I'm sure Raul is a stand up guy, but I sent the man payment for parts 7 weeks ago, and still I wait. An offer was made to refund the money 3 weeks ago or ship asap, I chose to let him ship asap. Still, I wait.

Raul is a better seller than this-

i think whitley has good reason to leave this negitive feedback

but there are 2 sides to every story

i sold him a type-4 exhaust part
before taking his money , i noticed that that part ended up in a box of parts left at a friends house
i let him know that the part was not currently in my possession
and that it would take a few weeks to ship

he told me he was ok with it and paid for the parts
after a few weeks i told him that i had not been able to get his parts for shipping
and offered him a refund (my friend lives 45 miles from me and we dont have the same schedule)

Whitley responce was that he understood the situation and as long as i shipped parts before winter, he preferred to wait than to get a refund

yes, it has been 7 weeks now and this situation has been unfortunate for me
i did tell the buyer before he paid that this paticular part was not in my possession
then i offered a refund after i saw that it was going to be more than a
week or 2 before i was able to ship his parts

what else can i do......................

I understand your situation Raul, and I feel bad for leaving negative feedback. However, if it was me, I'd just call my friend and ask him to ship the parts. It's getting cold in Kentucky, and with no garage to work in, its only going to get colder laying under the bus.

Whitley.

I recently bought some engine tins and a hard to find hot air pipe for my 78 westfalia from Raul. He was very helpful and even directed me to another seller who Raul knew had a part I needed that he did not currently have. Raul was also willing to send me photographs of the tins to best describe thier condition. Shipping was prompt and very well packaged, thanks Raul!!
