went out to big bend and hit 100 miles of trails. some were 4x4 high clearance
buses ran awesome. we carried extra fuel, we burned up close to 17 gallons all day and into the night romping the buses thru some awesome trails. |

Ah, the Park. The Old Ore Road was so bashed apart in November '13 I was afraid I'd break the vehicle. Very rough. Last time I go it alone.
Hope you made some Jeep guys feel bad! |

we saw a few jeeps, but they were on the maintained trails, hahaha. with sketchy mexi cell service at best, we wondered how bad the rains would get, had plenty of supplies incase we got flash flooded and stuck.i wondered about getting lost out there but friends girl friend was great with reading the map we had. the botella trail a hi clearance 4x4 trail was pushing the limits with our 50 year old buses. i liked the llano loop it was a hi clearance 2 wheel drive trail. we even deep fried a turkey at camp. it was an awesome trip! i would like to trip to mexico like mtn bus, but mexicio does NOT allow firearms... so probabaly wont be going down there without a bigger caravan of buses. |

Oh, okay, you were at the state park. That place wasn't even open to the public when I moved down here. It's pretty great.
Yeah, MX is still sketchy in certain places- eg. those poor Aussie surfers who wound up dead inside their burnt-out van along the coast. Very sad. |

Out in Eastern Oregon along the Deschutes. A smooth spot in a 17 mile washboard road rough enough that it rattled all the knobs on my Hehr windows loose. Excuse the underexposed film. Was using a new to me camera.
