What was or is your high school car? (VW only)

Mine was actually just after High School. Bought this 1971 Super (Red) for $1700 in 1977.

It was my College car!

E's was a '61 Karmann Ghia coupe. Fixed it up as father/daughter project, before the internet.

72 Super Beetle. Garage paint job using semi-gloss black and white. The 2 inch checkerboard pattern was fun and just something to set the car apart.

1776cc motor in the car was my first engine built and my introduction to working on air-cooled VWs.
