sweet, and you can't tell that its removeable. |
Exactly. It only takes 5-10 minutes to remove (once the bumper is pulled) and it doesn't look like a race car. That were my two concerns. _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

For my rear apron, I slid the apron on the body, and drilled 2 holes on either side using the holes in the apron from my spot weld cutter. I then removed the apron, bolted my fenders on, and drilled from the backside of the body through the fenders. This gave me 4 bolt holes that go through the fender, body, and apron. It isn't coming off with those bolts in there. |
I like that idea. I might use it on my project!
BTW, nice progress, vugbug68. Keep it up! _________________ -Thomas

thanks, I thought I would have been done a long time ago but I decided to redo some stuff (glad I did) I like that rear apron idea too, probably will do that to the 68 as well
another question: for the bumpers I cant decide on what color black,
Flat to match the body or Gloss to match the handles and mirrors

Looking good. The front bumper really transformed the look.
you need to get 90 degree fittings for your oil lines so you can route them easier to the filter so they dont touch the exhaust. |

they dont touch thanks to my zip ties, but yes I need to get a different fitting. with my old exhaust these worked fine but not with the merged header _________________ 71 Super - Backroad Thrasher

nice car. After your post in the daily driving thread it had to check it out. |
Thanks, I haven't looked at this thread for a while, it's pretty incomplete and some of the pics don't work anymore. _________________ 71 Super - Backroad Thrasher
