^^^Very nice bus, but how can it be "un-restored" if it's been painted and has new window rubbers?
One thing to note, it has a rare set of late bay slider windows with the screens on the outside instead of the usual Riviera style camper windows. _________________ nothing |

Yeah, the whole ad is a train wreck, I couldn't read the whole thing without my mind wandering, I guess word count adds to the price? One paragraph is discussing rebuilt engine, trans, paint, etc.. and then suddenly it's "unrestored", then there's talk of new intake seals, etc.., is it really rebuilt or just freshened up? _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Retro Mid-century Vintage Hippie surfer Wall ART
This is a rear hatch door to a 1967 VW Splitty Bus. It is original blue, this is not a reproduction. This comes ready to mount on your wall, restaurant, business, or garage. Can easily put business logo, family pictures, or other stickers on rear window. Comes complete with original sekurit glass, door, Volkswagen emblem, and finger grab handle. If this rear door could talk the history that went on behind this tie die curtain.
I also have a titan red 1 for sale, very similar, see my other listings
I will ship anywhere. This weights about 37 pounds and as you can tell quite large. Price does not include shipping
Must mount to stud to secure to wall. Make sure you know what your doing when mounting. You would hate to be responsible for ruining a piece of hippie history.

Similar, but different Buses. The second one has different color front seats, actual Riviera windows, no whitewalls like the first one had...the second one has a towbar and is missing the two holes in the rear of the Bus near the tail lights that the first one has, and are stock. _________________ First Trip in the RustyBus:

It wasn't posted here....saw it last night but that's a Split Bus rear hatch, not a Bay Window so it doesn't belong here anyway. I like the idea though, and I can duplicate that for a hell of a lot less than $600. FWIW, he does have two of them for sale at that price. _________________ First Trip in the RustyBus:

Here's a great one, I couldn't resist sharing. Maybe someone with better forum skills can paste the ad so the link doesn't go bad in a week

Not a bad looking bus (minus the split emblem) but the price may be optimistic.

Look again at the pic of the steering wheel. If they will paint over that cracked piece of junk, imagine what kind of detail went into the rest of the bus. _________________ nothing |

No doubt, even in the smaller pics you can see all of the cracks in the steering wheel they just decided to paint over. Looks like the "headliner" is glued directly to the ceiling, which is why you see the side rails of the roof on the inside and the windows in the roof look like shit. That's over all just a big blue piece of shit. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of time, money and effort someone will put into a total hack. _________________ First Trip in the RustyBus:

X2. it looks like a model car kit where everything is moulded in 2 colors. i'm all for the metal dash, but why is it people that pull off the foam don't bother to weld up the extra holes? it really looks like shit that way _________________

I think the big emblem is what bothers me most about that bus. |
