an 83/79/71, what the hell...lol. this guy says its a 83 bus....but then mentions a upright engine, and it has the later bay lights up front.

anyone want to guess the year?

Looks like he's pretty clear to me. He states it's a Mexican '83 Bus with a 71 engine in it. _________________ tangerinemoons.com

If I didn't want the surface rust would you knock a few bucks off the price?
Heck, mine was more complete with less rust, and I had it shipped cross country for way less than that. _________________ '69 SC under resto

No shit. Wonder if the seller (on samba) really bought it, or its a scam ad with a jacked photo. If its a legit seller, he must have stars in his eyes thinking of a quick buck. Idiot. _________________ Oppenhiem

Interesting that the ebay ad is from Iowa, and the new seller is in CA with the same pics from the ebay ad. Do you suppose the new seller even has the truck in his possession? _________________

i have seen this before.... a seller sells a car. buyer then jacks the price and tries to do a filp while the original seller shows the car, stores it etc. so the 'buyer' never has laid a hand on it.
what happens is the original seller gets pissed that the car is still laying around or whatever, does a (partial or no) refund and re sells it. that is a perfect oppertunity for someone to claim the car 'stolen' and really screws a legitimate buyer
this is why i'm sooooo leary about trying to buy a west coast car. because if you get mixed up in that bullshit, WHO is the last 'owner'? sounds like a shitstorm ready to happen _________________
