Several things on the engine are funky for a $17k bus, but take a close look at the fuel filter. Now, I have no problem with a filter in the engine compartment if it's routed safely and a the brass inlet on the carb is either tapped and threaded or there is a safety wire installed, but it looks like this filter is laying directly on the metal heater tube clamp. Shocked

Where do you guys see bay prices going in the next few years? Seems like in 2010 I could almost afford a project Westy and today, prices have almost doubled. Its ridiculous. I've had bus fever for so long and have not been able to get one. I'm going to be selling a Jeep of mine, so maybe I can get a bus and a 4x4 for the family.

I could fit about a dozen more in my backyard if I wanted to be single again. But I don't.

It makes me curious when someone wants some good money for a vehicle and they don't even mention the year of the vehicle in the ad.

I know that , you know that, and I am sure the owner knows that. I was just questioning why he skipped that info in his ad.

Yeah, i agree they should put the year though. I've always liked '72's. I guess if someone pays that much for the bus they won't know or care about the year.

Dude, get one asap. I bought mine senior year (2010) for 1k running with tranny problems and now the bus in that same condition would fetch well over 2500 bones. In it's current condition, probably close to 5k. To answer your question directly; UP. and fast.

Yeah. The prices seem to be out of control. I missed the boat on the splitties before they went into the stratosphere. Bays are following close behind.
