If 20k for that 69 deluxe is too much moola for you, then I've got a bus that's right up your alley, priced to sell!

I agree. Nice bus for sure. I just wonder why it had an engine overhaul with only 38k original miles on a type 4 engine? _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

I bet they could get $20k+ for it pretty easily. But even at the asking price with it being in such amazing/original condition they just might get it.
I wonder why there is not even a single picture of the freshly built HfM motor? _________________ 1976 Westy

That rust "repair", wow. The "untouched" dash that has a modern radio. I'm sure they also had to touch the dash to remove the heat and fresh air levers. I bet there is a lot more missing to the system than you can't see too. Passenger tires.... _________________ 1976 Westy

Ouch, I bet a lot more of that bus will look like the rear shelf in a couple years. _________________ "A rolling bus gathers no rust." |

The scam notice was mine.... I found the E-bay listing trying to benchmark what it was worth before I made a trip over to look at it. Sad that Craigslist doesn't have a more efficient way of removing scam listings. Still, it was kind of fun shining a light on his shenanigans. _________________ 1970 Crew Cab |

Is that Gorilla tape holding the air cleaner tube to the cleaner? No kidding on the rust "repair"... why would you hold the front floor mat up to show either a lumpy slab-o-metal or potentially fibreglass floor? How do you get the rear cupboard open with no handle? Also, why go thru all the trouble of what looks like an aftermarket thermostatically controlled cooler when you just stick it in the open engine space where the hot air can just be sucked in to "cool" the engine? I dunno, maybe I am just missing the logic. _________________

At that price there is no excuse for having a lumpy/faded/sagging bed/seat.
The "Original Chrome" bumpers look out of place to me (maybe 'cause they are?).

"I just bought this van in fact I registered it yesterday. I will have the title in a week or two but wanted to post this now. If you like it and want to put a deposit down for me to hold it I will. We can make it happen! It runs great and looks great. Only reason I am selling it is my dog doesn't feel comfortable in it. And my dog is why I bought it."
hmmm, my first thought is "just admit you are flipping the bus" but who knows. Pretty funny either way. _________________ "A rolling bus gathers no rust." |

I wonder how much he paid for that bus? No way was it $16,000. He expects to flip it for sure, and thinks he'll make a fat profit. I think he's a little too greedy. |

Agreed, that's a 10k bus IMO, 12k on a good day. 15k on ebay if you get some fools bidding, they take 13% though. _________________ "A rolling bus gathers no rust." |

Next time, he may want to take his dog to test drive it before the purchase. _________________ My Bus Restoration Blog

It's got a 6 cylinder? Must be a Porsche engine. |
Oh snap! I missed that. 6 cylinder engine you say? Now I'm willing to fork over $16,000. |
