It does look ok.... except for the cross-eyed extra headlights, the suicide doors, the automatic trans, and the tear drop tail lights. |

Its also very reminiscent of a 1989 cover of VWTrends calling and wanting their bus back. _________________

I've met that bus, up close and personal.

Its priced a little high in my opinion. It is a 71 weekender though and that's a darn good model. The paint job is a nightmare. It looks like a pretty good bus though, it has potential. I'd pay 4k for that any day of the week. _________________ "A rolling bus gathers no rust." |

For $26K the guy could at least back it out of the garage to get some decent pics. _________________ 1965 Volkswagen 1500 Variant S

Yeah, if you want 26k for an unrestored bus, you better buff the snot out of that paint, replace that nasty carpet, replace the worn out foam, the incorrect front seats, and attend to every single issue on the bus. That means cosmetic and mechanical. Then take a ton of professional photos with a nice background. _________________ "A rolling bus gathers no rust." |
