I currently purchased a 1956 oval that has the original owner title that has been signed and notorized, but I have not signed it yet. I plan on restoring the car and selling it.
Is there any added value to the buyer that he be the 2nd owner of the car? Does that affect value on sale?
Your thoughts are much apprecited. _________________ 1972 VW, 1967 karmann Ghia,1964 VW Bug,1967 VW Bug (all matching numbers), 1969 VW Bug, 58' matching VW, 59' VW bug, 56 oval ragtop matching. |

| IF you can get away without registering it while restoring, go ahead, but to me condition of a car is far more important than # of owners, and unless there is some extensive and complete history (receipts/service records) I just don't see it mattering for the most part, epecially if it is restored, a 1 or 2 owner low mile og car, maybe. But to some potential buyers, it very well might, so again, if you can NOT register it, than don't it can only help, not hurt your sale. |
