Any ideas how I can clear the exhaust with the heater tube?

How about a 30° PVC bend from hardware/plumbing supply...

One could take it to an exhaust shop and see if they
have some scrap tubing that next size up or down,
have em cut the pc down with the bend in it, slip
either over or inside the existing pipe opening, make
sure you can slip the flex hoses over the pc's clearing
the tubes, and attach the pc's to the heat exchanger...

I don't know what size the opening is, but Summit ha
this pc aval for around $11.00. You could cut it in half,
trim it to clear the pipes and affix it that way to the heater openings.

Dale has a good idea too and probably would last
longer due to the pvc.

Are you sure you couldn't take a emissions alum pre
heat flex tube and slip em in there ? They bend a LOT
and in all sorts of weird directions..

As far as pvc or the standard heater tube,
I'm concerned with the temperature of the
exhaust pipe being too hot.

Do you think I could use a 2"dia 90 degree
elbow. I might be able to smash it flat in the
area to clear the exhaust. Is there any reason
to not run it rigid?

They have everything. Thanks!
